Malini Singh McDonald's Theatre Beyond Broadway has signed on as a sponsor for The Inspired Word's 5-Year Anniversary Extravaganza.
In 2003, Malini Singh McDonald began sending emails to her friends letting them know which friends were doing what shows throughout New York City. They would then get together and theatre hop in support. Many emails later, Malini thought “An email newsletter system would make my life easier.”
That was in July, 2012. After launching the Theatre Beyond Broadway newsletter, the response was great. What started outat started out as an invitation to her friends’ shows in Manhattan and Queens expanded to great independent and local theatre in the 5 boroughs, Long Island, and surrounding areas. Theatre Beyond Broadway provides a platform to promote and support independent artists, groups, and productions; and all the theatre that happens beyond the bright lights of Broadway.
