BIOS:

Storm is a singer/songwriter on the move - born in Brooklyn, moved to Puerto Rico for 16 years, now living in the Bronx – and with a voice that definitely matches her name. She developed her vocal technique with help of soprano singer Darizabel Isales and tenor Jose Ramos Torres and is now working with the likes of acclaimed producer Luis Burgos (her writing partner), Hip Hop’s The Mighty Welfare Poets, funk/rock/soul group Digg Deep, and the powerful Afro-punk diva Alkebulan Aya. Storm has worked on Off-Broadway productions with the late Titus Walker and the Ujamma Black Theater and just completed a six-month residency at East Harlem’s Camarades el Barrio. She’s dedicated to bringing back the classic vibes of R&B grooves but incorporating a more modern feel to it, developing a sound all her own. For more info, please visit Storm’s page on ReverbNation @ http://www.reverbnation.com/storm3000 or follow her on Twitter @Storm_3000.

Comedian David Rey Martinez, born to a couple of Panamanian refugees, is the seventh of eight very funny children. With comic influences such as Bill Cosby, Red Foxx, and Dolemite, Martinez is known for unabashedly taking on even the most taboo of subjects. He’s performed at the Laugh Lounge, Caroline’s Comedy Club, and at various other clubs throughout New York City. Because of an infectious laugh that seems to spiral around forever, he's known affectionately as Curly Fries to his Inspired Word family. This is his first feature performance. You can find him on the web @ http://cmdcomedy.tumblr.com/ and http://facebook.com/davidreymatinez.

Spoken word poet Mark Anthony Vigo aka Vigo Hard represents the BK. With a booming voice and a straight-from-the-hip style, Vigo performed at the 1st Annual Poetry Festival on Governor's Island and represented New York City in the nationwide "50 for Freedom of Speech" reading series to protest the banning of Latino literature in Arizona. In partnership with Tamara G. Saliva and Xmental University Inc., he’s taken part in the "900 Notebooks Poetry Workshops," helping at-risk youth find their own voices through poetry. His poems have been published in the premier issue of The L.E.S. Review, a magazine covering the poetry & art of NYC, and on the website for Covis Marketing & Publishing (https://covismarketingsp.com/Poet_s_Corner.html). You can find him on Facebook @
